Ryan O'Rien

As a solo act, Ryan primarily plays acoustic guitar and harmonica. If playing a hotter show in support of electric bands, Ryan also has the chops to play a unique electronic solo set, or a combination of acoustic and electric. Dealer's choice!

The bowling Green Massacre

The BGM doesn't just make the scene, it makes a scene. It's a protest rock outfit that is anti-asshole.

The sound has a David Bowie flavor to it with a splash of rockabilly and a hint of surf-rock.

Instrumentation is guitars, bass, drums, harmonica, and saxophone. Ryan, as a talented multi-instrumentalists, takes turns on his guitars, harmonica, and saxophones during the set, adding a unique variety to the show that energizes audiences.

Ships & Crows

Ryan has deep roots in traditional Irish music. If your needs call for a more traditional performance, Ships & Crows takes Ryan's traditional arrangements and original material and lays it out in guitar, banjo, bass, and mandolin.

[Ryan has] a wonderful stage presence that kept us engaged, with tunes that we all enjoyed. He's easy to work with and very pleasant. One of my favorite acts that we brought in.

Kat Vadam, Twisted Vine Brewery DSM

Ryan O'Rien/BGM blew me away with their dynamic stage show and powerful songcraft!
